Jordan was raised in nearby Osceola County, where he attended LeRoy-Pine River High School. After graduating in 2005, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he studied criminal justice with an emphasis in juvenile probation. While at Grand Valley, Jordan took a particular interest in his criminal and constitutional law courses and began to think seriously about a career in the law. It was also at Grand Valley that he met his future wife, Brandy, and began visiting her hometown of Ludington on a regular basis.
Following the completion of his Bachelor's Degree in 2009, Jordan attended Valparaiso University Law School, where he solidified his passion for criminal prosecution. Jordan graduated with honors (1st in his class) from Valpo Law in 2013 and successfully passed the Michigan bar exam that fall.
Following a 3-year stint as a research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals, Jordan moved to Ludington in 2016 to be with his wife and start a family. He joined the firm of Carlos Alvarado Law PC, where he handled various civil and criminal cases in Mason, Lake, Oceana, and Manistee Counties. He also served for two years as President of the Mason-Lake Bar Association.
In 2019, Jordan fulfilled a lifelong dream by joining the Manistee County Prosecutor's Office. Since 2020, he has been the Chief Assistant Prosecutor for Manistee, where he handles complex cases ranging from misdemeanor OWI and property offenses to high-level felony drug, assault, domestic violence, weapons and sexual assault crimes. He also serves on the Manistee chapter of the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Response Team (DV-SART) and the Manistee County Child Death Review Team.
When he's not at work, Jordan can be found at home with his wife and two children, who he considers his greatest accomplishments. He also volunteers his time as a member of the Ludington Planning Commission.
